Biography
Dmytro Filatov was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1976 into a family of artists. Surrounded by art from childhood, he developed a deep connection with painting that became his lifelong vocation. Over the years, he has created a unique artistic style, and his works have been exhibited internationally and acquired by collectors from many countries. He currently lives and works in Spain.
Artist statement
Life is the suffering of a grasshopper left forgotten in a box by a cruel child. It is a thought that came to me, though I hold no permanent creed.
1976 - Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, into a family of artists.
1990 - Studied art and began developing a personal artistic style.
2000 - Started exhibiting professionally and entered private collections.
2010 - Works acquired by collectors in Europe, North America, and Asia.
2026 - Relocated to Spain and established a new studio.
